I got my first Covid-19 vaccine yesterday. Other than a little soreness, it was surprisingly underwhelming. I thought confetti cannons would appear from the sky and angels would sing!!!

I became eligible the other day. A friend helped me make an appointment online. I walked into the pharmacy near me. I waited in line. I showed my ID, filled out a form and waited some more. I sat in a chair and got my shot. It felt like nothing. I sat for 15 more minutes and then got up and walked home.
